Legal Assistant Molly DeRosa has been with Heritier Nance & Smothers, P.C. for over 20 years. Clients of the firm are likely to communicate with Molly on the phone or via e-mail regarding their trusts and estate plans. Molly helps clients throughout the entire planning process, including gathering necessary information for their estate plans, assisting our attorneys in preparing the client's estate plan documents, and working with clients to see that their assets are correctly titled in order to meet their estate plan goals. Molly also assists our attorneys during client meetings, and is available for follow-up questions after clients' documents have been signed.
Molly received her Associate's degree in Secretarial Studies from Rider University in 1972, later completing a Bachelor's degree at Rider in 1978. Building on this foundation, she has also taken courses in Estate Planning and Probate Administration at Oakland University, as well as numerous seminars on those topics from Michigan's Institute for Continuing Legal Education. This background, together with her years of practical experience, have made Molly an invaluable resource for the firm's clients.
